Taiwanese Trade team visits Riyadh Chamber |

RIYADH: A top-level Taiwanese trade delegation headed by former Minister of Economic Affairs Steve Ruey-Long Chen met with members and officers of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) yesterday to discuss areas of bilateral cooperation in trade and technology. “My delegation told the members of the RCCI led by Secretary General Hussein Al-Athel that Taiwan is in a good position to help Saudi Arabia develop its Information Communication Technology (ICT),” Chen said during a reception hosted by Representative Sheng-tsung Yang at his residence in the Diplomatic Quarters (DQ) here. He said that it was his delegation’s initial meeting with the RCCI members who expressed willingness to enter into collaboration with Taiwanese counterparts. He added that he expects more meetings to take place in the future between Taiwanese businessmen and Saudi counterparts.
