|
The Digital Education Institute (DEI) has been given the function of a training solution provider to assist the rapid development of information technology industry in Taiwan since 1979. Extending from decades of experiences in education and training, DEI has trained 350,000 people/classes in their respective technological domains. The impact pervades not only in government, academic sectors and research institutions; but more importantly, in industries such as high-tech industries, traditional industries, banking, insurance, consulting services, transportation, travel & leisure, ... etc.
During the past twenty-seven years, DEI has continuously received domestic awards as an excellent training provider. And for e-learning, DEI has been constantly garnered international honors since 2004. One of our e-learning courseware has passed the accreditation of ECC (E-learning Courseware Certification) by ASTD (American Society Training & Development) in 2005. In addition, the development of SCORM 2004 module has given accreditation from ADL (Advanced Distributed Learning). The development of Pocket SCORM was rewarded the bronze medal in Brandon-Hall innovative technology competition in 2005. Taiwan was the first Asian country to receive all these honors. |
