Since 1997 Taiwan government has implemented e-Government system on line, and III has long experience working with government and industry to provide customized solution. III's e-Government solution, Single Government Service Portal Integration Program, aims to develop an e-Government Service Platform to integrate the support for all government services under a single entry portal. The main purpose is to provide an integrated and unified service system, from cross government departments and agencies, to citizens, enterprises, government officers and staffs.

It can link all the e-Government services on line such as Residential Information System, Land Management System, Taxation Service System, and the like as a one-stop service through the internet.

The main tasks of this program can be divided into three parts : the front-end government portal website development, the e-Government service platform development, and the development of a cross government system that provides unified interfaces and environmental support links.

The "Single Government Service Portal Integration Program" establishes standards and specifications of generic government service platform and plans, and it builds an e-Government service platform by enabling data sharing and data exchange support among government departments and agencies.

Through the program, all government service sites will be integrated under one single portal. Efficient data sharing and data exchange among various, existing government systems can be accommodated. Moreover, all the legacy, back-office government systems can be linked together to form a new, convenient government service set to serve well the citizens.
