In Taiwan, banking business automation has been shifted from in-house efforts and systems to using professional services and ready products since late 1980; and in 1990s, there were projects to establish standards and to deploy common solutions for the goal of automating inter-bank transactions.


With the support of Taiwan government financial authority and the Bank Association, an inter-bank service platform was established to effectively connect and support individual financial institutes.  During the two decades of solution development, various financial systems/applications have been deployed to Taiwan financial institutes, including CBS, bank card issuing and management, ATM monitoring, inter-bank payment, branch/channel management, loan/credit rating, asset management, mobile/internet banking, security/treasury process, risk management, call center, CRM, e-payment with smart card, etc. Taiwan best IT professionals, together with III’s advisors have performed a wide variety of assignments to serve the banking and financial sectors.
