The Description of Smart Reader

	• Event Management：
		Directly makes synchronous command to ALE or various drivers, returns the result immediately.

	• Reader Setting：
		Configures settings of smart reader, including settings for event cycle, user management, driver management, system management and backup mechanisms.


	• Report Maintenance：
		Event report receiving and maintenance.

	• EPC Encoding：
		A module implementing standard EPCglobal tag data version. Specifying EPC data encoding and decoding.

	• Reader Monitor：
		Logs in user operation and monitors statuses for smart reader, including power status, user status, driver status and ECSpec status, etc.

	• Reader Driver Interface：
		A common interface for physical drivers communicating with smart reader, such as barcode, RF driver, etc.

	• ALE：
		A module implementing standard EPCglobal ALE spec. Dealing with event cycle running and report delivery.

	• Driver Manager：
		Managing all of reader drivers, capable of dynamical driver loading and unloading.

	• Smart Reader Adapter：
		A reader adapter connecting with other remote applications search such as middleware.
