Learning Content Management System(LCMS)

The LCMS enables instructors to create course materials through conceptual navigation method, and provides users one single entry to acquire information from different repositories. The system supports IEEE, LOM, and CC.

Highlights
LCMS was designed with accessibility and adaptability in mind. Administrators can install or update LCMS in minutes, develop custom templates to give LCMS a new look, and easily extend it functionality with feature modules. III has adopted the IMS/SCORM content packaging specifications, allowing content developers to create reusable content that can be swapped between different e-learning systems. Content created in other IMS or SCORM conformed systems can be imported into LCMS.
Supports SCORM and Creative Commons (CC)
Provides online Metadata Editor for IEEE, LOM and TWLOM.
Contains communication and collaboration functions.

Benefits
Easy-to-use content creation tools . A key benefit of LCMSs is the capability for knowledge experts -- with little or no programming experience – to author knowledge content quickly, without the assistance of third-party suppliers or information technology resources.
Flexible course design and delivery .
LCMS supports a distributed component management structure, which users can acquire components from different repositories without having to access multiple sites.
LCMS uses a conceptual knowledge navigation structure by which the instructors can also create the most appropriate learning material by utilizing the authoring tool.

Collaboration
III is seeking collaboration with e-Learning companies by providing core technology modules for speeding up developing processes, enhancing your competitiveness and a total solution for the development of your in-house training course.
