The Passenger Information System

III's integrated Passenger Information System provides accurate and current information on the arrival and departure times for trains.　The system seamlessly accepts data from the Signaling System, train supervision and train location signals, it displays this information for passengers and train staff to see.

The Passenger Information System provides the following core functions:

•	Accurate train arrival and departure notice from the platform transmits information from the Signaling System to the Passenger Information System.
•	Clear visual LED displays which are strategically placed on the platform to provide passengers, visitors, and train staff relevant information in real time at the right place.
•	Provides real time information for more than 3 million journeys that Taiwan High Speed Rail customer will take each year.
